Affordability

Too many families in the Northeast Kingdom are working hard and still struggling to afford housing, healthcare, food, and rising property taxes. Vermonters deserve practical solutions that lower everyday costs while supporting wage growth and economic opportunity. My focus will be on creating a fairer system where working people can build stable, secure lives and not just get by from month to month.

High Quality and Affordable Education

Every child deserves access to a high-quality education, and every taxpayer deserves confidence that our education system is sustainable and accountable. We can improve student outcomes by being more strategic with resources, supporting strong local schools, and focusing on what is truly helping students succeed. I support reforms that preserve local voices, strengthen rural communities, and ensure families continue to have meaningful educational choices.

Community Health

Strong communities depend on accessible healthcare, stable housing, and support systems that allow people to live healthy and secure lives. Too many Vermonters are facing rising healthcare costs, mental health challenges, and housing instability that affect overall well-being. We need long-term, community-based solutions that strengthen families, improve access to care, and support the health of people across the Northeast Kingdom.

Rural Leadership

Rural communities like St. Johnsbury, Kirby, and Concord deserve policies shaped by the people who live and work there, not one-size-fits-all decisions made far from the Northeast Kingdom. Too often, rural voices are overlooked in conversations about housing, education, economic development, and land use policy. State government should treat local knowledge and community input as essential so rural Vermont can thrive and grow on its own terms.

Housing for All

The shortage of affordable housing is making it harder for working families, seniors, and young people to remain in the communities they love. We need to expand affordable housing options, encourage responsible development, and create incentives that bring more long-term rental housing back into the market. Vermont must also continue investing in stable, long-term solutions for housing insecurity instead of relying too heavily on temporary fixes.
